The person in this role will support the team in tasks related to Data Platform Administration and gradually develop skills in this area. Basic understanding of DevOps practices, particularly automation in:
Code delivery to environments (build, deployment)
Code quality verification (basic testing concepts)
Environment monitoring
Initial hands-on experience or academic exposure to CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including familiarity with at least one pipeline tool (e.g., Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines) and IaC concepts (ARM, Terraform)
Foundational knowledge of programming, preferably in Python and SQL
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), any exposure to Kubernetes or cloud services (Azure/AWS) is a plus
Interest in learning how to design processes and support analytics solutions using Azure Databricks
Scripting fundamentals in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Bash)
Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration
Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and responsibility in completing assigned tasks
Practical command of English at a minimum B2 level
Supporting the design and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, test)
Assisting in implementing Infrastructure as Code (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform) and helping in provisioning environments
Supporting the deployment and basic management of applications in Microsoft Service Fabric
Assisting in Azure Databricks deployments and learning how to support ETL flow orchestration and Big Data processes
Contributing to the automation of development processes and monitoring of environment stability
Collaborating with senior engineers to understand technical requirements and support internal teams
Supporting Windows/Linux system administration tasks and maintaining development tooling
