Front-end Developer

The person in this role will work with project teams developing modern data platforms in a cloud environment. An integral part of these platforms are data applications, i.e., web applications that allow users to interact with data (e.g., through unique interactive data visualizations, data entry/modification forms). The person will work in an international environment and specialize in the architecture of cloud-based Big Data solutions and the latest technologies in this area and promote the principles of the DataOps manifesto.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and related technologies (e.g., Next.js)
Take care of good UX practices, create intuitive interfaces for data visualization
Integrate front-end components with backend data services and APIs
Optimize applications for reliability, stability of operation and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features

Requirements

Experience as a Front-end Developer with focus on React projects (2+ years)
Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Practical knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux)
Proficiency in source code management using git
Practical knowledge of English at min. B2 (C1+ preferred)
Independence and responsibility for assigned tasks
