On May 1, we launched another sports initiative at BitPeak. For two months, until June 30, BitHikers collected points in the Activy app, turning everyday movement into healthy competition, better habits, and support for a charitable cause.

This year’s edition of BitPeak Activy Quest was held under the motto “Let’s move together”. We wanted the challenge to be open to everyone, regardless of their preferred activity, fitness level, or work model. Every form of movement counted: kilometers covered on foot or on wheels, minutes spent exercising, active commutes to and from work, and consistency over time.

How the BitPeak Activy Quest worked

The scoring system rewarded different types of activity. Participants earned points for every kilometer walked, run, cycled, skated, or ridden, as well as for every 10 minutes of exercise. Extra points were awarded for the first two activities a day, active commuting, and activity streaks of 3, 5, 8, 13, and 21 days. This meant the challenge was not only about top results, but also about regularity.

Rewards with a charitable goal

The competition continued until the very last day. Every two weeks, we rewarded the current TOP 3 participants in the ranking. At the end of the challenge, the best performers received the main prizes. But there was one more important element: the final TOP 3 also chose the charitable cause that BitPeak will support.

Together, we showed that movement can be more than an individual result in an app. It can be a reason to build better daily habits, choose an active commute, go for a walk after a long day at the computer, or return to the exercise routine that kept being postponed.

More than numbers in an app

In this year’s edition, BitHikers completed a total of 17 502 km, recorded 3 140 activities, and reduced their carbon footprint by 23 927 kg CO₂. Behind these numbers are real choices: leaving the house, choosing a bike instead of a car, training after work, taking a weekend walk, and proving that consistency often matters more than a one-time result.

Congratulations to everyone who joined BitPeak Activy Quest. Thank you for every kilometer, every activity, and every “I’ll still do something today” that contributed to the shared result.
